President’s Son Says Iran’s Supreme Leader Is Safe and Sound

Iran’s new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei is “safe and sound” despite reports of an injury during the war with Israel and the United States, said the son of the Iranian president on Wednesday.

The new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei of Iran remains alive despite the rumors of his injury. Adviser to the government, Yousef Pezeshkian busted the air on Telegram. Friends with contacts assured him Khamenei escaped harm–thank God he wrote. The state television portrayed him as an injured war veteran of Ramadan without specifics.

A cargo ship was hit in the Strait of Hormuz which is very crucial by a mystery projectile off Iran. Fire was reported to break out at a rapid rate by maritime trackers. The crew made away on the first blaze and on the second. The explosions rocked the Doha capital of Qatar. AFP journalists could hear numerous explosions shaking the city, evoking panic in the Gulf capital.

Israel pounded Beirut hard. The state media reported that an apartment in the heart of the city was flattened by a strike.
