Samsung to release new “AI Powered phones” on January 17, 2024

Samsung, the leading smartphone producer in the world, has recently made an eye-catching announcement. Samsung announced that they will be launching “AI Powered” phones at their ceremony at San Jose.

Samsung is by far the biggest competitor of Apple. Comparatively, Apple only holds 16% of smartphone shares while samsung has a whopping 20% shares in the global market according to Counter Research.

However, there’s a paradigm shift in the US Market. Apple dominates in the US market with almost 53% shares while Samsung lacks behind with 25% shares in the United States Market.

However, an announcement by Samsung to unveil new Galaxy phones powered by AI has caught the eye. There’s still an unclear narrative of how these devices will work but experts like Wualcom can have a better idea.

Samsung uses Qualcomm’s chips in their smartphones. However, the new smartphones to be unveiled by Samsung, probably the Samsung S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra will have state-of-the-art Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Series 8 Generation 3 chips. Samsung leads in acquiring the latest tech.

Qualcomm made an announcement in October stating that their new chips will allow smartphone users to use generative AI on their phones like ChatGPT without an Internet connection. Moreover, the use of these Chatbot AI’s will ensure more privacy.

Qualcomm’s new chips will allow users to create images via text strings. This goes hand-in-hand with Google’s latest AI, Gemini which comes in Pixel 8 Pro and allows the user to create a custom wallpaper by taking a set of strings as words.
