Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its commitment to holding Hajj service providers accountable, warning of strict consequences for those failing to meet the highest standards for pilgrims.
Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah, has warned that service providers failing to meet their obligations will face strict penalties. He emphasized that both domestic and international companies guilty of negligence or misconduct could face heavy fines or even permanent license revocation.
During a meeting in Mecca with Hajj service company leaders, he reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring a smooth pilgrimage experience. He stressed that there would be zero tolerance for any failures that compromise the well-being of pilgrims.
Al Rabiah also reviewed preparations for the upcoming Hajj season and praised the efforts of the Supreme Hajj Committee, led by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, in organizing a well-managed pilgrimage. He acknowledged the contributions of service providers working to improve facilities and services for pilgrims.
