ABU DHABI – The government of United Arab Emirates has announced that couples can now tie the knot digitally and receive their marriage contracts digitally as well via SMS.

The UAE’s decision has been widely accepted and commended as there were troublesome procedures to get married in UAE with in-person appointments and ceremonies.

Lately, the Abdu Dhabi Judicial Department has started announcing new and easy ways for individuals to get married to avoid visit government offices in the states.

Now recently, this new announcement has taken the citizens by storm as it makes marriage way easier than before. All couples need to do is to make an appointment at their official website and choose in-person or video-conference ceremony for the wedding.

After the ceremony is done the Department after verification sends out the marriage contractcs digitaly via SMS which save an abundance of time.

Marrying digitally has been made much easier by UAE’s official Judicial website. Follow the steps below to get married digitally in UAE.

1. The first step is to visit the official website of Abu Dhabi’s Judicial Department and submit a marriage application alongside your UAE pass.

2. Afterwards, you will be granted an appointment upon which the applicant needs to do some online procedures to book a spot.

3. Once you are done with the online procedures, you need to select in-person or video-conference ceremony for your wedding.

4. After your wedding ceremony is over, you will receive marriage contracts via SMS.

The contract can also be shared with institutions via e-signature application.
