The High Commissioner of Britain Ms Jane Mariotte announced that the UK will be doubling their investment in Pakistan to tackle climate change and increase the Climate resilience in Pakistan.
The announcement came at the 76th birthday at King Charles, at an event that was arranged by the British High Commission. In a statement the official stated that according to the UK’s policy of COP 18 aimed at the climate change aid for vulnerable countries is set to double the investment in Pakistan.
The event was mesmerising as the Band of Artillery Company gave an outstanding performance. It was led by Major Bruce Miller and Major Stuart Duncan was the Band Sergeant.
The theme of the event was mesmerising as it highlighted environmental sustainability and climate change. This was a cause that was most preached by King Charles himself for the last 50 years.
Discussing this cause, Jane Mariot stated that it is a matter of urgency and should be dealt with as soon as possible. The vulnerabilities for climate change are to be addressed, especially in Pakistan.
She also recalled the floods last year claiming to take the lives of more than 30 million people and leaving millions affected by it. She stated that Pakistan’s vulnerabilities and susceptibility to climate-change should be addressed.
Marriott Jane also stated that the UKs collaborated AI based system will be expanding to KPK that gives early warnings for Forest Fires. She suggested that this project will ensure the safety and security of both citizens and trees.
