Manchester Police officer caught on camera assaulting Pakistani family members

A brutal assault clip of British police officer on two Pakistani men at Manchester Airport caused outrage online.

The viral clip shows male officer hitting victim with full force while other officers instruct onlookers to keep their distance. The video has been widely circulated online, and is being condemned by Muslim community in the UK.

The disturbing clip shows police officer assaulting man lying on the ground, kicking and stamping on his head. The cop is also seen using a Taser gun on the man, who is lying down.

Other officers on duty told bystanders to keep distance, while a woman in clip attempts to intervene and assist the man. Another person sitting on a nearby bench was also subjected to police brutality. After the incident, Manchester Police issued a statement, saying officer involved in brutality were responding to a reported altercation at the airport, and had been attacked.

Officials expressed concern over the incident, acknowledging the shocking nature of viral clip. For the time being, the officer has been removed from duty and that the case is being referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct for further review.
