A notification for the new working hours for the federal capital has been issued by the government. The Aim of these revised hours is to facilitate the citizens and employees of Islamabad alongside aligning yourself with International Timings.

This development took place on October 18th as the office timings had been modified by the government and notification was issued for the federal capital.

New Timings for Federal Offices in Islamabad

Prior to the notification the Federal offices were to be open by 7:30 AM and close their doors by 3:30 PM. However, according to the new timings, the Federal offices of Islamabad are to open sharply at 8:30 AM and close by 4:30 PM. Moreover, there is a lunch and prayer break during the day which starts at 1:00 PM and ends at 1:30 PM. This break is to facilitate the employees working in the offices for lunch or prayers alongside any other miscellaneous activities.

The new office timings for Federal offices of Islamabad are in effect starting today. They are for Monday to Friday. The goal of these timings was to ease both the citizens of Islamabad and to provide ample time for the citizens to avail the services of the Federal offices during the day. Moreover, this is also beneficial for the staff as they are likely to be late at 7:30 AM so instead of 7:30, they can come at 8:30 to start their day.

Moreover, the school and college timings ha e also been changed for the Federal Capital. The change in the new timings was due to the harsh climate change in recent days as winter approaches. The “new school timings for Islamabad” have been effective from yesterday for all the schools and colleges of Islamabad.
