Imam-e-Kaaba set to lead Friday prayer today at Faisal Mosque, Islamabad

Islamabad- Imam-e-Kaaba, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He’s here on a 4-day visit which shows the solidarity and brotherly relations of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Several prominent figures and high-profile individuals have welcomed him including he Interior Minister and Federal Minister of Education. Moreover, the Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi alongside the Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki.

Sources suggest that Imam-e-Kaaba is also scheduled to lead the Friday prayer today at the monumental Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. Moreover, he’s also expected to have meetings with the President, Prime Minister, and COAS of Pakistan.

The special representative to the Prime Minister, Tahir Ashrafi stated that the presence of Imam-e-Kaaba here in Pakistan is a sign of solidarity and brotherhood relations between Pakistan and KSA. He further stated that his presence has a huge impact on the spiritual matters and political religious matters in the country.
