ISLAMABAD: The federal capital is all set to get digital billboards across strategic installations.
This was revealed in a meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) with Muhammad Ali Randhawa in the chair.
The meeting was informed that CDA plans to introduce a new digital advertisement policy in Islamabad on Monday (July 22) to replace traditional advertising methods.
“The policy aims to replace traditional advertising methods with modern digital displays, transforming the city’s streets into a vibrant showcase of color and motion, reminiscent of New York’s iconic Times Square,” a CDA official told APP.
“Under this innovative policy, digital billboards will be installed at strategic locations across the city, including streets, avenues, malls, bus stops, public transport, and pedestrian bridges.”
Moreover, CDA will ensure the use of eco-friendly materials in digital advertising and would use the revenue to maintain and upgrade the federal capital.
