Emirates suspends flight operation to Israel

TEL AVIV – Emirates has stopped flights to and from Tel Aviv, Israel because of the ongoing tense situation, leaving thousands of flyers in limbo who were planning to travel to the country with the carrier.

The carrier has announced officially to have taken the step while monitoring the situation in Israel. The carrier has informed the passengers to contact their booking agents for alternatives, refunds, cancellations or for rebooking their flight itineraries.

‘Customers with onward connections to Tel Aviv on Emirates flights will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice,’ the carrier announced. 

Emirates is likely to start flights to Tel Aviv again once the situation becomes more stable and safe for travel and are adapting to the standard practice in the airline industry where safety is the top priority.
