Sukkur: In a shocking discovery, a team of Archaeologists discover a whole pot of copper coins buried deep into the ground at Mohenjo Daro. The coins have been sent over to the Laboratory for Analysis.
A team of experts were digging on an Archaeological site at Mohenjo Daro and uncovered a bucket. The bucket contained copper coins carefully packed in what appears to be a small fabric.

According to sources, the discovery was kept as a secret at first as one of the workers went on to bury them again. However, as news reached the authorities, the coins were recovered again and sent to the laboratory for analysis.
The carbon dating will tell us about the exact date of the coins as they could be centuries old according to experts. Mohenjo Daro has been a site of great discoveries and dates back to almost 5,500 BC. The level of infrastructure, planning, and thinking of the people of Indus Valley is unmatched as the site is usually referred to as the “Queen Site” due to this reason.
