Authorities state that they had sent several notices to these stores but no action was taken by the managers. Afterwards, the stores were closed as LDA officials rolled in with heavy machinery to learn the encroachments.
J dot and Cheezious were among the seven stores closed by LDA officials after the operation was carried out by the LDA.
LDA Director Muhammad Ali Randhwa stated that indiscriminate action will be taken against the individuals who violate building bylaws and rules and regulations.
All commercial buildings are advised to stay within law regulations and building bylaws and ensure they do not violate such rules related to parking or encroachments of government land.
