The government of Punjab has rolled out ‘Chief Minister Internship Program’ to offer practical experience for youth, so they can start their career without doing unpaid internships.
The Internship program was prepared to enhance skills, improve employability, build professional networks, and promote personal development.

Who can apply for Punjab CM Internship Program
Candidates aged 18 to 25 can apply by registering at www.cmip.punjab.gp.pk. Those selected will be placed in top private sector companies for their internships.
The government emphasised that program’s objective is to help young individuals achieve financial independence with dignity, and she urged them to take advantage of this opportunity to secure a successful future.
Rs25000 Stipend for CM Internship Program
Thousands of internships are being offered, each with a duration of six months. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000, with preference given to recent graduates.
The program offers practical experience in the private sector, allowing participants to apply their academic knowledge in real-world situations. It is designed to enhance skills, increase employability, build professional networks, and promote personal development.
Last Date to Apply
Registration is expected to begin on August 28, 2024, with a deadline of September 30, 2024. The internships are tentatively scheduled to start on November 1, 2024.
Note: Applicants can start the application process even if their academic documents have not yet been verified by the HEC, but processing will only proceed once verification is complete.
