In Rawalpindi, Punjab government gives minority cards to the needy families.
This smart program was initiated by the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to provide financial assistance to poor non-Muslim families. The performance was in Waqar-e-Nisa College of Women. Deserving folks with big smiles were also provided with cards by special guest Tahira Aurangzeb.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Hassan Waqar Cheema divulged important information. The drive is divided into two stages to facilitate rollout. Phase one was completed, where 850 cards had been given out already. Phase two will soon bring in 994 more eligible families. This is a broad audience and disseminates actual support quickly.
Each card provides Rs10500 after every three months. Funding is sent directly through the online card or bank account. It is applied by families to essentials such as food, school fees and power bills. Not a bother but appropriate assistance to reduce everyday hardships. This move indicates that Punjab is making a vigorous effort in raising minority welfare. The poor households will enjoy a stream of cash flow towards improved lives.
Children do not leave school, lunch rooms do not run out of food, and lamps do not go out. The team of Maryam Nawaz is concerned with justice and promptness. The non-Muslims feel appreciated with material assistance. Rawalpindi is the best example for other cities.
Societies rejoice at the transformation. Families make advance funds. The government trusts the government one card at a time. More stages will imply broader coverage in the nearest future. Punjab also demonstrates an example of care and inclusion that warms the hearts on the national level.
