Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir on Wednesday acknowledged Belarus‘ contributions to the global and regional affairs.
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir during his visit to Islamabad, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, including defence cooperation and regional security.
Gen Munir emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations with Belarus.
President Lukashenko praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their vital role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
The discussion highlighted the shared interest of both nations in fostering deeper collaboration on security and defence matters, reflecting the growing partnership between Pakistan and Belarus.
