CSS 2025 results to be announced soon, says FPSC

In an important development, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on Saturday announced that it would announce the final results of the CSS, 2025 in the last week of February. Preparations had entered final stages.

The CSS exam remains one of the toughest competitive examinations in the country, selecting only a handful of candidates each year for top government positions. According to sources, more than 80 percent of candidates who cleared the written exam have already completed their interviews, while the remaining interviews will be held soon. Officials expect the overall pass ratio for CSS 2025 to stand around 2.5 percent, slightly lower than the written exam’s 2.77 percent pass rate announced on August 22, 2025.

Once the results are declared, successful candidates will be allocated to elite occupational groups and services. These include the Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service of Pakistan, Foreign Service of Pakistan, and other key cadres such as Customs, Inland Revenue, Information, Audit and Accounts, Postal, Commerce and Trade, Military Lands and Cantonments, Management Services, and Railway Commercial and Transportation.

FPSC officials have assured that the final announcement will be made on time, ensuring that newly selected officers can begin their journey in crucial roles related to governance, administration and policy-making. They added that all procedural requirements are being completed quickly to avoid unnecessary delays.

Meanwhile, CSS aspirants nationwide are closely monitoring the situation, hoping for a positive outcome as the final merit list draws near. For many candidates, this moment represents years of hard work and preparation, with the results expected to determine their entry into Pakistan’s civil service.
