FIFA reveals 48-team groups for 2026 World Cup

The FIFA World Cup draw has been announced, dividing the 48 participating teams into 12 groups, with the tournament set to be held next year in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Hosts Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, and a team from Play-off D will compete in Group A, while Group B will feature hosts Canada, Qatar, Switzerland, and either Wales or Northern Ireland from UEFA Play-off A. Group K includes Portugal, Uzbekistan, Colombia, and a FIFA Qualifier 1 team. Finally, Group L features England, Croatia, Panama, and Ghana.
