Pakistan State oil (PSO) is leading with a 5 percent annual decline to 591,000 tons as compared to 624000 tons. On a monthly basis, it decreases 6 percent as compared to March. The total tonnage of PSO goes down 1 percent to 5.828 million tons in 10 months. Hascol Petroleum reduces volumes by 26 percent on year-on-year basis to 35000 tons as compared to 48000 tons. Its sales in 10 months relax 2 percent to 426,000 tons.
Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) experiences a less severe 6 percent annual decrease to 119,000 tons out of 126000 tons. During the 10 months, APL declines by 2 percent to 1.131 million tons. Wafi energy (former Shell) also has minor dips. The high prices restrain demand, but annual profits keep in the long perspective. Experts watch if relief measures spark rebound.
