For the first time, online tests for government posts were conducted in a single day, and appointment letters were issued within an hour.
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti described this move as a major step toward ensuring transparency and upholding the principles of merit in government jobs. He emphasized that the initiative marks the beginning of a broader reform aimed at eliminating corruption and nepotism in public sector recruitment.
Officials said that the recruitment process will be fully online and paperless. Candidates will undergo a digital test to assess their qualifications transparently, and appointment letters will be issued within an hour to successful applicants. This system aims to streamline hiring while reducing human interference and delays.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the Finance Department will serve as the model for implementing this reform across all government departments in a phased manner. He stressed that jobs will not be sold under any circumstances, and corrupt practices will not be tolerated.
Furthermore, Sarfaraz Bugti said that merit, transparency, and fulfilling promises to the public form the foundation of his administration. He added that the government is continuously strengthening its systems to ensure these principles are applied in all sectors.
