Hajj 2025 cost revealed as part of new pilgrimage policy

The Hajj policy for the upcoming pilgrimage was authorized by the federal cabinet on Thursday through a summary.

The official Hajj 2025 package, according to sources, is anticipated to cost between Rs10,75,000 and Rs11,75,000.

Around 179,000 Pakistanis are expected to perform Hajj next year, the insiders further disclosed.

The Hajj Policy 2025 also indicated how many quotas were reserved for certain organizations, including the government and private operators, who would each receive 89,605 pilgrims.

A little over 1,000 pilgrims and roughly 300 low-income workers who are registered with the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) comprise the labor sector’s quota in the interim.

Additionally, the upcoming Hajj will consist of two lengths: a long Hajj lasting 38 to 42 days and a short Hajj lasting 20 to 25 days. Children less than 12 will not be permitted to participate in the pilgrimage during this time.

Women without a mehram are nevertheless able to perform the Hajj, as per the standards established by the Islamic Ideological Council.

The airports in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad will offer the flight to Makkah service.
