LAHORE Punjab Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Department has launched a virtual registration card or E-registration card for vehicles, in another step towards digitalisation.
The facility will prove a sigh of relief for new vehicle owners, who have to face traffic challans and other issues, for not possessing registration cards while driving the vehicles on roads.
Those who have not received their registration card from the excise department can now download the virtual card from its official website.
How to Download E-Registration Card on Mobile Phones?
The virtual card can be downloaded in no time through a seamless process.
An owner of the vehicle needs to visit the excise department’s official website where he/she will find a tab “E-registration card”.
A new page appears when the tab is clicked asking you to enter the registration number and chassis number of the vehicle.
After entering the details, you will get your virtual registration card, which can easily be saved in mobile phones.
The holder of the e-registration card can show it to the traffic police and other security officials for verification to avoid any inconvenience and traffic fines.
