Intermediate exams 2026 dates released by BISE Punjab

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad has announced the schedule for the 2026 Intermediate annual examinations.

The Part II (Class 12) exams will start on May 5, while the Part I (Class 11) exams are scheduled to begin on May 24. A BISE official stated that the examination dates were finalized in line with the provincial educational calendar to ensure smooth conduct and timely declaration of results. Since all Punjab education boards follow a unified examination schedule, the dates released by BISE Faisalabad will apply to boards in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Gujranwala as well.

Officials explained that intermediate examination dates are usually announced after finalizing the matriculation (Class 9 and 10) schedule. This helps the boards manage administrative and logistical tasks more efficiently. Roll number slips, detailed date sheets, and information regarding examination centers will be shared with students closer to the start of the exams. The BISE urged students to continue preparing diligently and to stay updated through their respective boards for any official announcements. Teachers and administrators are also coordinating to ensure examination arrangements meet proper standards for security, seating, and invigilation.

Education experts said announcing the schedule in advance helps students plan their revision strategies and manage study time effectively. They emphasized that adherence to the official calendar is important to avoid confusion and last-minute disruptions. With examinations approaching, authorities have asked students to maintain discipline, follow instructions at exam centers, and complete preparations in a systematic manner. Parents and guardians are advised to provide a supportive environment to help students focus on their studies.
