Islamabad, Rawalpindi Traffic Alert: THESE Major Roads remain closed in twin cities today

Pakistan’s federal capital Islamabad and garrison city of Rawalpindi remain choked in wake of PTI scheduled protest rally in D-Chowk that prompted authorities to enforce widespread closures on Friday.

Key roads that are currently closed include Faizabad, Murree Road, Faiz-e-Islam, Stadium Road, and Double Road. Additional affected routes encompass Chandni Chowk, C Block, DAV College Chowk, Marir Chowk, Haider Road, Khanna Pul, Sahi Chowk, Naz Cinema, Kohati Bazaar Mor, Liaquat Bagh, T Chowk, Khayaban Sir Syed Road, Carriage Factory, 26 Number Chungi, Chairing Cross, and Dhaman Syedan.

Despite these closures, authorities have confirmed that Kacheri Chowk, Old Airport Road, and Sawan Bridge remain open for traffic. However, traffic is also restricted on Chak Beli Mor, Mandra, Missa Kaswal, GT Road, and Daultala Mor.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and remain updated on traffic conditions as the situation develops.
