Karachi Board extends Matric exam form submission deadline

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has extended the deadline for submitting online forms for class 10th examinations, science and general groups, until February 10 without a late fee.

Regular students in the Science and General Groups can submit their online forms without a late fee from January 9 to January 30, 2025. Government schools, including those managed by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and the Labour Department, are also eligible to submit examination forms online without any late fee during this period.

After January 30, 2025, late fees will be applied as follows:

• January 31 to February 10, 2025: Late fee of Rs 500
• February 11 to February 20, 2025: Late fee of Rs 1000
• February 21 to March 10, 2025: Late fee of Rs 2500

Private students, those who failed the 9th class exams in 2024 or earlier, and candidates seeking to improve their grades or take additional papers can obtain their examination forms from affiliated banks, including the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Askari Commercial Bank, and United Bank Limited (UBL), as well as from the BSEK office booth.

Forms can be submitted at NBP branches or at BSEK’s Accounts Section in Room 4. The board has advised all students to submit their forms within the given deadlines to avoid late fees and ensure a hassle-free examination process.
