KP govt announces teaching jobs

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the hiring of 16247 teachers across the province to enhance the education sector.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has announced thousands of vacancies for district cadre teachers, ranging from BPS-12 to BPS-15. The available positions include PST, PET, CT-IT, AT, TT, CT, and DM, with opportunities for both male and female candidates.

For PST, 6646 positions are allocated for male candidates and 4065 for female candidates. In the CT category, 1456 positions are available for males and 627 for females. Other positions include PET (433 male, 304 female), CT-IT (109 each), Qari Teachers (293 male, 133 female), AT (494 male, 306 female), TT (341 male, 171 female), and DM (475 male, 285 female).

Officials stated that the recruitment aligns with the government’s efforts to enhance education quality and create employment opportunities. The hiring process will be conducted transparently, ensuring merit-based selections.
