Multan Building Incident: Building Collapses Killing Nine in Mohalla Jawadian

MULTAN – In a shocking incident, a building has come down crashing in Multan’s Mohalla Jawadian near the Haram Gate burying 11 people underneath on Tuesday.

The building collapsed at around 3:30 am on Tuesday when Rescue 1122 received the call for this incident after which the rushed to the location.

According to sources, the collapsed building had buried 11 people underneath the rubble out of which nine individuals have lost their lives.

7 people from the same family, both women and children included, have lost their lives in this unfortunate incident at the start of Ramadan.

Sources report that it was a dilapidated three-story building which fell on itself and buried the victims under the rubble when Rescue 1122 arrived.

According to DEO Kaleem of the Rescue Department, 7 people from the same family have passed away and are identified as below.

Danish – 15 years old

Faheem Abbas – 40 years old

Ameer Ali – 12 years old

Waseem – 14 years old

Sanoobar – 40 years old

Bakhtawar Amin – 18 years old

Komal – 13 years old

DEO Kaleem further stated that, “The rescue operation has been completed”. Two individuals have been rescued.

The two rescued were Waqar and Musarat Bibi and they were escorted to the Nishtar Hospital for treatment immediately.
