The Chief Secretary (CS) of Sindh, Syed Asif Hyder Shah and a delegation of NADRA Board Members on Friday agreed to establish 13 more NADRA offices and mega centers in different cities of Sindh.
The decision came after a detailed meeting between Chief Secretary Sindh Dr. Asif Haider Shah and a NADRA delegation led by Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan Khattak, according to the Chief Secretary’s spokesman. During the talks, both sides focused on introducing e-transfer of property and modern land record management systems in Sindh. The Chief Secretary stressed that the province is moving toward online property transfers to make the process easier and more transparent for citizens. He added that providing modern facilities is a top priority for the Sindh government, and NADRA’s role will be central in implementing these digital initiatives.
In addition, the meeting decided to expand NADRA services to rural and underdeveloped areas of Sindh. This step aims to ensure that people living outside major cities can also access registration and property services without difficulty. The new NADRA offices and mega centres will offer improved facilities, enhanced service counters, and increased seating capacity to meet the growing demand. By decentralising services and taking them closer to people in remote areas, the government hopes to reduce travel difficulties and waiting times for citizens.
Moreover, NADRA and the Sindh government reaffirmed their commitment to work together on digital transformation. With improved cooperation, authorities aim to bring efficiency, transparency, and accessibility to property transfers, land records, and other vital services. Through these efforts, Sindh is taking another step toward modern governance, making public services more efficient and citizen-friendly.
