The Punjab Safe City Authority has introduced an online tracking system for complaints registered on the 15 helpline.
This initiative covers complaints received through the authority’s 15 emergency helplines and aims to increase transparency and efficiency in handling public grievances. Once an FIR is registered, the complainant receives a WhatsApp notification containing an e-tag number and other relevant details.
Citizens can then log into the online portal using their username and password to check the current status of their complaint. They can also download a copy of the FIR for record-keeping. The system includes a special facility for women through the Virtual Women Police Station. Women can seek legal guidance and monitor the progress of their complaints without leaving home.
Officers maintain continuous contact with affected women to provide timely support and ensure swift action if complications arise or additional assistance is needed. This digital platform enables real-time updates at every stage of the complaint process, strengthening public trust and improving accountability. Citizens can access the portal at https://feedback.psca.gop.pk, while the Virtual Women Police Station can be contacted by calling helpline 15 and pressing 2 for assistance.
By integrating technology and streamlined communication, the new system reduces delays, prevents misinformation, and provides convenience to the public. It represents a significant step toward modernizing complaint management and ensuring that citizens, especially women, feel supported and heard throughout the process. This move reflects the government’s commitment to transparency, citizen empowerment, and the effective use of digital tools to improve public services.
