Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday, along with a high-level delegation.
A high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, federal ministers, and senior officials, is accompanying him. According to the Foreign Office, the visit highlights the deep-rooted brotherhood between Pakistan and the UAE, which is built on mutual trust, shared values, and strong cooperation across many sectors.
During his stay, Prime Minister Shehbaz is scheduled to meet UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders will hold a one-on-one meeting to discuss key regional, international, and bilateral matters of mutual interest. The visit will focus on expanding economic cooperation, attracting investment, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in trade, energy, and infrastructure. Officials say the talks will also cover strategies to deepen Pakistan-UAE strategic ties.
The Foreign Office noted that this visit reflects both countries’ shared commitment to enhancing their long-term partnership. It aims to promote growth and prosperity for both nations by strengthening current ties and opening new doors for cooperation. Pakistan and the UAE have historically maintained strong diplomatic and economic relations, with regular high-level visits playing a key role in keeping the partnership active and productive. This trip is expected to give a fresh boost to bilateral ties, especially in trade and investment, and reaffirm Pakistan’s dedication to working closely with the UAE for mutual development and regional stability.
