Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh, where both leaders reaffirmed the strong Pakistan–Saudi Arabia ties and discussed expanding their historic partnership in trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
The meeting took place at Al Yamamah Palace, where the Crown Prince warmly received the Prime Minister and his delegation. Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also attended the meeting, highlighting the importance of the visit. During the discussions, both sides focused on enhancing collaboration in trade, investment, energy, and human resource development.
They also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, progress, and prosperity in the region. Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed gratitude for the Crown Prince’s strong support and dedication to promoting close ties between the two nations.
He emphasized that Pakistan deeply values its brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia and looks forward to expanding cooperation in various sectors. The Prime Minister is currently in Saudi Arabia on an official visit at the invitation of the Crown Prince. As part of his trip, he will attend the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference, being held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unveiling the New Frontiers of Growth.” The event will bring together global leaders, investors, and innovators to discuss key topics such as innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical changes shaping the world’s future.
