PM Shehbaz lands in New York for 79th UNGA session

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday arrived in to New York to attend the seventy-ninth session of the UN General Assembly. He will address the assembly on Friday.

PM Shehbaz Sharif will discuss various pressing issues including Israel’s barbarism towards the Palestinians and the Jammu and the struggle of the Kashmiri people.

Pakistan’s steady devotion to multilateralism and its help for the UN’s role in advancing world harmony, security, and flourishing will be reaffirmed by the prime minister.

PM Sharif is scheduled to go to various significant level gatherings beyond the UN General Assembly meeting.

These sessions include open debates on leadership for peace by the UN Security Council and existential dangers presented by sea level rise. Moreover, he will approach the UN Secretary General and have other respective experiences with world leaders.

To illuminate them regarding his government’s favorable to business and supportive of investment policies, the leader will meet with Pakistani financiers and individuals from the US-Pakistan Business Council.

There will be around 130 heads of state and government representatives attending the UNGA session.
