He requested information on the necessary number of tents and blankets from Pakistan’s ambassadors in Palestine and Lebanon, asking them to contribute to hastening the delivery of relief supplies.
The prime minister commended the non-governmental organizations that support the Pakistani government’s assistance operations and denounced the obstacles Israel is putting in the way of their efforts.
He requested that the relevant authorities send out the fireproof tents and declared that the government will not scrimp on the quality of the goods provided.
According to him, the main cause of the 20th century global war was the world powers’ lack of concern for the hostilities.
During the meeting, it was disclosed that twelve cargos had been sent to Palestine since October 8, 2023, using six chartered, three PAF special, and three maritime routes. The consignments included 12625 blankets, 3145 tents, food, milk powder, and medications.
In addition, 3,000 more tents and 12,000 blankets would shortly be provided via three aircraft. Two batches of Palestinian medical students had arrived in Lahore and Islamabad, the prime minister was informed.
In order to allow Palestinian students to pursue studies in fields other than medicine, the prime minister requested that the appropriate authorities provide the necessary provisions.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Advisor to the PM Rana Sanaullah, SAPM Tariq Fatemi, Chairmen of the Higher Education Commission and National Disaster Management Authority, and top officers who were pertinent.
