Mainly dry weather is likely in most parts of the country, while hot in the plain areas during the next twelve hours.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts mostly dry weather for most regions today. However, scattered rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms will hit northern and southwestern areas. Hailstorms may strike certain spots in the afternoon. Islamabad and the surrounding areas have a constant dry climate. Part clouds come in the evening. Most of the districts remain dry in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
However, isolated thunderstorms characterized by gusty winds are experienced in Kohat, Hangu, Bannu, Karak, Tank, Kurram, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat and Waziristan. Hail might fall in some places. The Punjab is mostly dry as well. Isolated thunderstorms are aimed at Bhakkar, Layyah, Jhang, Khanewal, Kot Addu, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Murree and Galiyat hold dry with partly cloudy skies later. The dry weather is experienced in most districts in Sindh throughout the day. Zhob, Musakhel, Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat, Barkhan, Turbat, Kech, Gwadar and environs in Balochistan are hit by scattered thunderstorms and hailstorms.
