A new weather system has entered Punjab, bringing rain and strong winds, ending weeks of dry weather.
The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with strong winds in several districts, including Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and Sargodha. Lahore is expected to have cloudy skies with intermittent sunshine but no rain.
Punjab’s weather is shifting as rain brings relief from the prolonged dry spell. Lahore’s temperature will range between 19°C and 32°C. Rain, wind, and thundershowers are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, with isolated heavy rain and hail in some areas.
Islamabad, upper Punjab, and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may experience rain in the next 12 hours. Major city temperatures include Islamabad at 20°C, Karachi and Lahore at 24°C, and Quetta at 5°C.
In Indian-occupied Kashmir, cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. Leh may see snowfall, while Jammu will have partly cloudy weather with rain.
