President diagnosed with COVID

President Asif Ali Zardari has tested positive for Covid and has been advised to stay in isolation at a private hospital in Karachi.

A team of specialists is monitoring his condition, which remains stable.

The president was admitted to the hospital on Monday, the first day of Eid, after his health deteriorated. Earlier, he had offered Eid prayers in Nawabshah while seated on a chair.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to inquire about his father’s health.
