KP MDCAT 2024 date, rules announced

The MDCAT retake exam was successfully conducted across Sindh on Sunday, following orders from the Sindh High Court.

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) University Sukkur was assigned the responsibility of organizing the exam.

A total of 38684 candidates participated in the exam, which took place simultaneously across six cities Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, and Sukkur.

The exam began at 11:55 a.m. at all centers and lasted for three and a half hours. PM&DC officials monitored the exam at each center  as requested by IBA Sukkur.

For security and logistical support, provincial and district authorities, along with agencies like FIA and the Intelligence Bureau were deployed.

IBA Sukkur ensured that all arrangements were made to ensure the smooth running of the exam.

To maintain discipline, the authorities strictly prohibited the use of electronic devices such as smartphones and smartwatches in the exam halls.

Special entry points were arranged in Karachi for male and female candidates at NED University and Karachi University.

Additionally, parents were given access to designated seating areas near the exam centers to provide convenience.

These measures were put in place to ensure a secure and efficient exam process amidst the high level of scrutiny surrounding the MDCAT retake exam.
