Smartphones For All: Ministry of Information and Technology Launches Easy Installment Plans Scheme

The Ministry of Information and Telecommunication Technology has launched the much-awaited Installment plans Scheme for Mobile phones. 

In a recent announcement, Dr. Umar Saif, the IT&T Minister, states that one of the telecom companies is also set to offer Apple phones on easy installment plans.

Dr. Umar stated that this way the downtrodden of the country can also get their hands on smartphones which has become a necessity nowadays. 

Smartphones for All Scheme by Ministry of IT&T

Finally the much initiative has been launched by the Ministry which is going to enable the provision of smartphones for citizens of Pakistan.

This is also going to expand the mobile market in Pakistan as Pakistan already has 190 million active smartphone users.

The Ministry of IT&T ensures easy instalment plans for all without any interest for smartphones ranging from 10,000 PKR to 100,000 PKR.

How to Apply for Smartphone for All Scheme in Pakistan

The installment plans are going to range from 3 months to 12 months with the compliance of PTA and other Telecom operators in Pakistan.

All an applicant requires is a valid CNIC or ID card to apply for this scheme. There is no implicit eligibility criteria.

If you’re an applicant that has a low monthly income, this scheme is suitable for you as it promises smartphones on installment plans without any interest.
