Reports indicate that the sweeper, Abid, frequently performs medical duties in the emergency unit due to a shortage of trained staff. The hospital is also facing a severe shortage of essential medicines, making it difficult for patients to receive proper treatment.

Residents claim that funds allocated for healthcare are not being used effectively, leading to a decline in services. Financial mismanagement and staff absenteeism have further worsened the situation.

Frequent complaints highlight the hospital’s deteriorating condition, with patients struggling to access even basic medical care. Visitors have reported difficulties in obtaining essential treatments, adding to the frustration of those seeking medical help.

Local residents are now urging Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take immediate action, investigate the hospital’s administration, and introduce necessary reforms to improve healthcare services in Pattoki.
