Tragic cylinder blast kills 5 in Lahore

At least five people were killed and five others seriously injured after a gas cylinder explosion caused a fire at a shop in Lahore’s Ravi Road area, officials said.

According to rescue officials, the powerful blast resulted in injuries to seven other people, who were immediately taken to Mayo Hospital. Two of the injured remain in critical condition and are receiving emergency care.
