Islamabad Announces Digital Driving License: Here’s How to Get Virtual License Online

ISLAMABAD – The driving license authority Islamabad has made a new announcement that citizens can now download virtual driving liense.

IGP Islamabad, Dr Akbar Nasir Khan introduced a new innovation into the system. The Islamabad Digital Driving License will have a chip incorporated in the card and holders of the license will renew and download their licenses via web.

This new innovation is very helpful as it allows citizens to issue their personal details and download their driving license.

All you need is a valid CNIC card and an existing driving liense to download the virtual license.

This initiative will provide relief and comfort to both the issuance authority and the residents as they can download their licenses over the web and also renew it.

This simplified procedure is also said to reduce the long queues at the driving license centres after the crackdown initiated by the government.
