ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has improved travelers’ comfort by installing massage chairs in both domestic and international departure lounges at Islamabad International Airport.
The airport manager Syed Aftab Gilani inaugurated the facility at the airport provided by the CAA free of cost which would facilitate everyone especially the elderly and the patients.
Passengers can relax with a cup of tea while waiting for their flights, making the travel experience more pleasant. These additions are part of ongoing efforts by the authority to make Islamabad Airport better for travelers. In this way, travelers now get special services for free, unlike other airports.
Moreover, the airport’s new facility aims to assist the elderly and patients who find waiting uncomfortable on regular benches or chairs. This service not only offers relief to those sitting on regular benches but also assists flyers in minimizing jet lag, particularly beneficial for those undertaking long-distance journeys.
The aviation regulator of the country is also exploring other options to improve the services at other airports across the country; the Islamabad International Airport has also been selected to be outsourced for 15 years.
As far as the details are concerned, reliable sources have also revealed that Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport, and Islamabad International Airport are all set to see the installation of state-of-the-art e-gates, aiming to revolutionize the immigration process, ensuring passengers experience efficient and expedited clearance.
Pakistan’s focus on airport modernization is part of a larger strategy to improve services and enhance the overall travel experience for passengers.
