With the increase in technology, the world has now witnessed a new type of warfare. Recent Condition of Pakistan’s Cyberspace

Recently Pakistan has been facing several issues regarding their defense against Cyberattacks. Excluding the domestic servers, Pakistan’s government has been noting potential threats and fishy activities on their official systems alongside websites. 

In recent news, The Cabinet Division issued another warning to the Ministries informing them that there have been imposters trying to impose the PMO and have been sending fake emails and messages. The emails contained malicious attachments that could cause severe damage to the systems if downloaded and opened.

However, that being said, cyberattacks take months to be planned. Potential hackers need to gather information as much as they can and choose the weakest link in your shield to target. Ensuring that you’re up to date with all your software and hardware alongside having a good firewall and an anti-virus protection can protect you against the majority of attacks. 

However, you will still need the utmost security and ensure you’re not providing unnecessary information to unknown sources.
