How to Apply for an e-Driving License in Islamabad Online 2023

A license is a legal document by driving authorities that shows your competence for driving a specific vehicle. In Pakistan, getting a driving license can be hectic as licensing centers may not be easily accessible to you. However, Pakistan is now taking the initiative of booking online appointments for citizens to facilitate them. Many of Pakistan’s institutions are now turning to the web to facilitate the citizens. Here’s how you can apply for an e-driving license in Islamabad online 2023.

How to Apply for e-driving License in Islamabad Online in 2023

Follow the steps below to apply for an e-driving license in Islamabad sitting at the comfort of your home.

  1. Go to the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) website and book an online appointment or you can visit DLIMS and apply from there.
  2. Download the necessary form from the downloads section on DLIMS website.
  3. After you’ve downloaded Application Form-A from the website, you’ll need to fill it.
  4. Attach a learner’s permit that’s at least 6 weeks old minimum.
  5. You’ll also need a medical certificate from a reputable physician.
  6. After that, you’ll need at least 3 passport size photographs. Ensure that the photographs are fresh and not too old.
  7. You’ll also need an attested photocopy of your Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC).
  8. Check the licensing fees and ensure you choose the ticket of your requirement such as a learner, permanent license. The total fee will include the test fee, appointment fee, and issuance fee.
  9. Send your finalised application to your centre and wait for your test.
