USD Rises by Rs 1.72, PSX breaks record

Today, November 7th 2023, Tuesday, the US Dollar increased by an astonishing Rs 1.72. Due to this massive increase, the Interbank rates went upto Rs 287. 

The rupee had performed exceptionally well in the prior month as it had massively gained against the US Dollar and turned out to be the best performing currency in all of Asia. However, experts argued that this rise will be short lived and we have now started experiencing that.

New Record by PSX

Just yesterday, on Monday, Nov 6th 2023, the US Dollar had already gained a massive lead of Rs 0.98 and went from Rs 284.31 to Rs 285.29. However, in contrast to this, the Pakistan stock exchange broke a new record today, Tuesday, November 7th 2023. A record 450 points were added to the 100-index and the total points reached 54,300 for the first time in history, setting a new record.
