Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday flew to Saudi Arabia to attend the 8th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative, which starts in Riyadh and lasts for two days.
The prime minister is accompanied by Commerce Minister Jam Kamal, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Petroleum Minister Musaddik Malik, Privatisation Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, and Information Minister Atta Tarar, according to the Foreign Office.
Through the Future Investment Initiative, nations may demonstrate their economic might, attract foreign investment, and have discussions to create a sustainable future.
The subject for this year’s Future Investment Initiative Edition is “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow” and will center on international investments meant to tackle pressing concerns such as robots, artificial intelligence, education, energy, space, finance, healthcare, and sustainability.
It is anticipated that the prime minister would engage in significant bilateral discussions with senior Saudi officials, including Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will examine bilateral collaboration in the fields of energy, defence, and the economy.
They will also talk about the Kingdom’s strategic and economic alliance.
It is anticipated that the Prime Minister will interact with the leaders and entrepreneurs who are attending the FII 8th Edition Conference.
