British Army Chief comes to Pakistan for ‘defence engagement’

In recent news, the Chief of General Staff of the British Army, General Sir Patrick Sanders has finally stepped foot on Pakistani soil. He is expected to stay for a period of three days. His trip is set to be focused on Defence Engagement.

Pakistan and the United Kingdom are working on a defence cooperation agreement. This visit is suspected to be in hand with the recent collaborative efforts of this agreement.

During his stay in Pakistan, General Sanders is all set to meet the Chief of Army Staff, General Asif Munir. Alongside the COAS of Pakistan, General Sanders is set to embark on several defence-related activities during his stay here.
