Global Firepower has released its list of the top military rankings in the world for the year 2024. The Top positions have been occupied by the same countries yet again.
Pakistan Army Rank has dropped by one position and the position has now been undertaken by Turkey.
Pakistan Military rank shouldn’t have dropped according to sources as the Military’s might has only increased since the last year in terms of technology and active personnel.
The first position has been occupied by the United States with a power index of 0.699.
According to Global Firepower, the country with a lower power index has the stronger military and hence making 0 the ideal and strongest might in the world.
Second position has been occupied by Russia again with a power index of 0.702 while third place has been taken by China with a power index of 0.706.
The fourth position has been taken by India in terms of military might with a power index of 0.1023 respectively.
Is Pakistan in The Top 10 Armies in the World?
Global firepower has ranked Pakistan in the top 10 strongest armies in the world as well. Pakistan Military Rank in 2024 is 9 as Global firepower has ranked Pakistan at ninth position with a power index of 0.1711 respectively.
However, Pakistan has actually been displaced by Turkey as Pakistan military’s rank in 2023 was higher placing it in 8th position.
Pakistan Army Rank 2024
Being placed in 9th position in the world, Turkey has crossed Pakistan for 2024 in terms of military might. However,Pakistan’s detailed power index tells an impressive story.
Pakistan has been ranked in 5th place in terms of population. Moreover, in terms of active personnel and available manpower Pakistan has been ranked in 7th position in the entire world.
Furthermore, Pakistan has also been named top 10 in terms of rockets, missiles, and tanks. However, Pakistan’s score for naval power was not as impressive as it should’ve been. The only naval aspect that Pakistan ranked in top is frigates.
Low scores in natural resources were also observed in the report as Pakistan could only rank in top 20 for gas and coal.
Pakistan’s financial ranking has not been impressive because of the financial crisis and the unstable economy.
