Three Palestinian women were killed when debris or possibly a munition from an Iranian missile fell on a women’s hair salon in the occupied West Bank.
This marks the first Palestinian deaths tied to Iran’s attacks in the ongoing Middle East war. Rescue teams pulled the victims from a metal caravan in Beit Awa near Hebron. The Palestine Red Crescent named 17-year-old Mays Ghazi Masalmeh among the dead. Eight others suffered wounds, with one woman in grave condition. AFP photos captured blood-soaked rugs and a punctured roof inside the caravan parked by a house.
Missile bits rained down across Hebron and nearby spots after Israel spotted incoming fire. Soon after, Iranian missiles claimed a life in central Israel. A Thai farm worker died from brutal shrapnel wounds in Moshav Adanim, 20 km northeast of Tel Aviv. Magen David Adom medics found metal scattered everywhere. This raises Israel’s war death toll to 15. Thailand’s foreign ministry confirmed the loss from Israeli reports.
Israel’s army tracked multiple Iranian missile waves and raced to block them. Air raid sirens wailed in central and northern areas plus West Bank settlements. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards boasted of hitting Israeli targets with missiles and drones. Some barrages reportedly used cluster munitions that burst mid-air, spraying bomblets wide.
UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed called Palestinian VP Hussein al-Sheikh to condemn the deadly strike. UAE itself battles repeated Iranian hits since the war ignited February 28 with US-Israeli blows on Iran. Tensions grip the region tight. Attacks spread pain beyond borders, claiming innocent lives on all sides. Alerts keep civilians on edge as skies fill with threats.
