PM Shehbaz plans housing scheme for poor families

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday directed officials to take practical measures to ensure that housing finance reaches ordinary citizens effectively, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a press release.

Leaders tackled ways to make shelter reachable for everyday people through smart government moves. Sharif stressed top priorities like budget-friendly housing projects. He wants the private sector to jump in and build more. Improving public services ranks high too. He ordered fast action to roll out easy house loans for common citizens.

The Ministry of Housing and Works shared its big roadmap. They rework construction taxes for fairness. The Federal Board of Revenue teams up with provinces on this. A fresh house mortgage plan takes shape now. Public-private teams gear up to construct units just for low earners.

Officials pitched a Real Estate Regulatory Authority to keep the market honest and smooth. This body oversees deals, cuts scams, and boosts trust. The Ministry of Finance, FBR, and provinces join forces on Real Estate Investment Trusts too. These funds make home buying simpler with shared investments. Attendees included heavyweights like Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Azam Nazir Tarar, Ahad Cheema, and Shaza Fatima.

They hashed out details to speed real change. This push promises real homes, not just talk. Families dream of solid roofs without breaking banks. Private builders gain clear rules and tax breaks, sparking a construction boom.

Regulated markets draw investors, creating jobs and steady growth. Pakistan eyes a housing revolution. Millions gain access to decent living, fueling economic lift. Quick loans and partnerships turn renters into owners fast. Government delivers on shelter vows, building stronger communities block by block.
