Islamabad: Pakistan Overseas Employment Corporation (POEC) has come to an agreement with NESMA & partners, a leading construction company in Saudi Arabia for the export of Pakistani workers for their projects.
This agreement was signed at Pakistan’s Embassy located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
POEC is essentially a governmental organisation that manages the recruitment, export, and deployment of Pakistani workforce abroad. NESMA & Partners is one of the most renowned Construction firms in Saudi Arabia who have a diverse and decorated portfolio of mega projects in the country.

This agreement is another marker of the extended relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. An extended manpower will be exported from Pakistan to meet the growing and visionary aim of the Saudi government for the future. They will be embarking on several mega projects and thousands from Pakistan will get job opportunities abroad. Saudi Arabia is already flooded with Pakistani nationals as they’re the highest from any nation there.
The agreement came as a result of the meeting between Jawad Sohrab Malik, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and NESMA & Partners representatives Samer Esam Abdul Samad.
During the meeting , the Pakistani officials offered gratitude to NESMA for looking towards Pakistan for their workforce. They further stated that this gives Pakistani workers the opportunity to showcase their skills as they’re very dedicated towards their work and NESMA spoke in support suggesting that the workforce from Pakistan is very hardworking.
